Secondly, education officials have stressed the compulsory education for girls in pastoral areas, minority girls, disabled girls and migrant girls. The motto has been "No School-age Children Lost."
Thirdly, education officials have tried, through rigid management, to prevent students from dropping out of schools. For example, if a student was not at school for one day, the teacher had to ask why; for two days, the school had to ask why; and for three days, the case had to be reported to a higher body.
